The Abruzzo is a beautiful region in eastern Italy that is divided into four provinces: Chieti, Pescara, Teramo and L'Aquila. Two thirds of this stunning area is mountainous and the Apennine mountain chain runs straight through the Abruzzo region.

We own two houses in the Peligna valley, situated in the picturesque town of Pratola Peligna in the L`Aquila region. These are perfect holiday houses and Pratola Peligna lies less than 50 miles from Rome (ideal for the perfect for a day trip).
