The Abruzzo is a region in eastern Italy that lies less than 50 miles from Rome. Two thirds of this beautiful area is mountainous and the Apennine mountain chain runs straight through the Abruzzo. Our houses are in the Peligna valley, situated in the picturesque town of Pratola Peligna in the L`Aquila region.
